A Time of Reflection

Welcome back! I'm so happy you're here. Throughout the last nine weeks, we've learned a lot about self care. We've taken a dive into different websites, resources, my friends opinions, and much more. We even started a Facebook page! Now, the semester is winding down and just about over.
Right now, I'd just like to thank you for reading and sticking around this long. Writing has always been something for me that I like to do, it feels easy. But being give different topics and tasks to write about every week has helped me. I was challenged to find those resources, really dive deep into how I actually care for myself. I learned a lot.
I think the most important thing I learned was that my self care days look different every time. Some times, I drink good coffee and take a long shower. Sometimes, I make my bed and make sure I have a decent meal. Sometimes, I just push myself through the day and try to keep a good attitude. It isn't easy being a full time college student, part-time employee, an internship, and being part of the best college radio station in the country. But somehow, I managed to do it with less breakdowns than anticipated.

I'm a firm believer that sometimes you DO have to cry to get through the hard times. Stop keeping it all in. Let it out, express yourself, and please, PLEASE, continue to make time for yourself. I'm not too sure if I'll continue to update this blog, but it isn't out of the question.
My next task for self care? The gym. All summer. I actually just signed back up for a membership, and I am so excited to get back at it. Let me know your next self care goal!
Keep hydrating yourself, keep nourishing your body, and allow yourself to flourish. I'll (hopefully) see you soon.
